MONSTA X‘s lead rapper I.M released his debut solo digital mini-album called DUALITY on February 19th at 2 p.m. KST.
“God Damn,” the album’s lead track, is an emotionally-raw hip-hop piece that sings of an inner turmoil, forcefully suppressed to keep up the pretense of being happy. I.M wrote the lyrics himself and worked with WOOKI to compose and arrange the song.
DUALITY also includes four more titles: “Howlin,” “Burn,” “Happy to Die,” and “flower-ed.” The rapper personally penned the lines for each one and participated in their composition and arrangement.
MONSTA X previously released their third studio album titled Fatal Love in November 2020. Earlier that year, they also introduced an all English EP called All About Luv and a mini-album, Fantasia X.
