Independent hip-hop duo Model Mob, consisting of rappers Tagger and former Seven O’Clock member Vaan, have released their latest single “Running From Network” on October 8th KST.
Inspired by the film “The Matrix,” the song tells the story of two “Neos” fleeing the complex network world, creating a cyber funk feeling through a crossover of EDM genres, not just hip-hop music.
Both Model Mob members wrote and composed the track with producers SLAY and ghost`writers who also took charge on the song’s arrangement.
The cinematic music video was directed by film maker (1994) who has worked on the duo’s previous MVs “New New New” and “Cam,” as well as MVs for idol group VANNER and rapper Kasper.
Model Mob first hit the scene last year with their preview single “Velvet” and have since continued to build their own layers and strengths as a team.
