#GUN is back with a new song and MV!
On April 1st at 6 p.m. KST, the talented solo artist revealed the music video for “AQUARIUM.” The music video takes on dark colors and sets to bring the plot to life, showing #GUN in a variety of situations from being trapped in a box to being wrapped tightly in cords and unable to escape. The overall story seems to imply anguish and feelings of being trapped by something darker, echoed by a mysterious woman who appears in the video and watches him through the glass of the box.
Meanwhile, the track— which was written and composed by #GUN himself— further adds to the darker sound through a sexy, R&B beat.
#GUN (pronounced as Sharp Gun) first became known for being a talented trainee on the Starship Entertainment idol survival show “No.Mercy” which eventually formed the group MONSTA X. He also became even more popular by appearing on the show “Show Me The Money 5.” He later went on to debut as a solo artist with the rap song “BEEP” in 2016, followed later by “Sunflower Dance” in 2017. In addition, he is also known as the cousin of WINNER‘s Song Mino, showing that a talent for rapping definitely runs in this family!
