GreatGuys vocalist Donghwi has gifted fans with a song as he begins his military duties on November 12th KST.
“Goodbye For A While” is a heartfelt acoustic track, written and composed by Donghwi himself alongside GreatGuys’ rapper Dongin who arranging the track. The song and its accompanying music video is a collaboration with K-Pop application Fanddle, which chose GreatGuys as its “face” last September.
So far, the collaboration has seen Hwalchan release a cover of American rock band LANY’s “If This Is The Last Time” and Hanuel filming workout vlogs, documenting his preparation for his body profile photoshoot which was released exclusively through Fanddle.
All 9 members of GreatGuys were present to send Donghwi off to the army, sharing heartwarming photos on Twitter.
Even leader Jae-I — who has been taking a period of rest in his hometown due to personal reasons since October, was there to cheer on the beloved member. (A recent update from company DNA Entertainment informed fans that Jae-I is improving little by little, but will be taking time off until December.)
