Yugyeom has released his first solo song since joining AOMG on June 11th at 6 p.m. KST!
Revealing the pre-release track “I Want U Around” off his upcoming solo album Point Of View: U, the GOT7 member shows off his luxurious vocals and a more mature image in this sophisticated trap-heavy song.
The debut track was written and composed by Yugyeom alongside his AOMG labelmates Gray and DeVita with the latter also featuring on the song. Captivating and intriguing visuals dominate the music video, with Yugyeom sleeping on a dark lawn, envisioning dreams of being tied up with ropes in the woods when he suddenly opens his eyes.
Beloved for his dance skills since his idol group debut, it wouldn’t be a Yugyeom video without showcasing his unique moves and mesmerizing performance. The dance break featured in the MV was created by renowned choreographer and dance teacher Jinwoo Baek who has taught and worked with many K-pop idols (including Yugyeom) over the years.
Yugyeom’s debut solo album Point Of View: U will be released on June 17th KST and contains songs produced by Gray and Cha Cha Malone. There will also be more collaborations with Gray, Loco, Jay Park and Punchnello.
