On September 21st at 6 p.m. KST, GOT7‘s JAY B dropped his latest EP along with a music video for its title track, “go UP.”
Penned by JAY B alongside Def., Jeonghwa Son (Jam Factory), Daeun Yoo (Jam Factory), and Copy, it is a piece that aims to bring a buoyant feeling to the listeners. “go UP” conveys an encouragement to live free and happy as your most authentic self as it sings about breaking away from the heavy expectations imposed by others.
Be Yourself is JAY B’s second mini-album and his first release under his new agency, CDNZA Records. The EP contains six tracks in total: “go UP,” “Break It Down,” “Livin’,” “The Way We Are,” “Fountain of Youth,” and “Holyday.”
