On July 29th KST, GOT7‘s Jackson Wang released his solo English track and music video called “Cruel”!
Described by the singer himself as having a grungy and raw sound, the pop-rock song is about the push-and-pull of two people who no longer know where they stand. It was co-written by Jackson Wang alongside Cameron Bartolini Music, Jack Samson, Kyle A Thornton, Louis Bartolini, and Roland Gajate Garcia while Cambo, Floyd Fuji, LOUALLDAY, and Roland Gajate Garcia took the reins during production.
Jackson Wang is set to unveil his second full album titled MAGIC MAN on September 9th. The tracklist is composed of 10 songs: “Blow,” “Cruel,” “Champagne Cool,” “Go Ghost,” “Drive It Like You Stole It,” “Come Alive,” “Just Like Magic,” “All The Way,” “Dopamine,” and “Blue.” “The B-side track “Blow” had been previously released as a single in March 2022.
