Woollim Entertainment‘s Golden Child has finally revealed the date of their official debut!
On August 3rd at midnight KST, a teaser video was dropped to reveal the debut date of Woollim Entertainment’s upcoming boy-group, Golden Child. The teaser shows various clocks ticking down on a colorful background. It then reveals the group’s official debut date to be on August 28th!
Fans were excited to hear a snippet of audio and wondered if it will be the same as their debut single. Or, at the very least, wondered if the rock-pop style music in this teaser will be the style of music Golden Child will have for their debut. Fans also noticed a neat little detail in the video. The Woollim Entertainment logo screen at the beginning of the video was a light blue color for Golden Child in comparison to the black of INFINITE and the pink of Lovelyz.
Golden Child were previously busy filming their first show “2017 Woollim Pick” on Mnet. It was made to introduce the eleven members to viewers and gather a fan-base for their first public busking performance— which was also their first performance as a band. In between episodes, Golden Child also dropped many various teaser photos of each member prior to their debut.
