On August 5th at 6 p.m. KST, legendary girl group Girls Generation made a thrilling comeback with a new album and music video for “FOREVER 1.”
Written by SMTOWN hitmaker Kenzie and co-composed with Ylva Dimberg, the pop-dance track delivers their heartfelt appreciation to the people who have supported them through the years. Their seventh studio album, which shares the same name as the lead track, features 10 songs in total and will enjoy a digital release before the physical albums hit shelves on August 8th KST.
Girls Generation made its debut on August 5th, 2007 with the iconic song, “Into the New World.” The members quickly rose to fame and were even tagged as “The Nation’s Girl Group” due to their immense popularity. Their last comeback as eight was way back in 2017 with Holiday Night while their sub-unit Oh!GG debuted with Lil’ Touch in 2018.
