On July 5th at 6 p.m. KST, Soyeon officially debuted as a solo artist with the release of her first mini-album and a music video for its title track!
“Beam Beam” is a refreshing song that expresses realizations and resolutions as an adult, sung against a backdrop of sweltering summer imagery. Soyeon, who also wrote the lyrics herself, co-composed the music alongside Pop Time and Kako.
Its accompanying music video features the singer wreaking havoc as an employee in a classic fastfood joint and hanging out under a sunlit sports park. Her debut EP titled Windy contains a total of five tracks including “Is This Bad B****** Number?” which features BIBI and Lee Youngji.
Jeon Soyeon debuted with (G)I-DLE with “Latata” back in 2018 and last returned with the group last April for their fourth digital single called “Last Dance,” a collaboration with the fan community platform, UNIVERSE.
