On May 15th at 6 p.m. KST, (G)I-DLE made their comeback with their latest EP along with a music video for its title track, “Queencard”!
The song was initially meant to be a love song according to leader and producer Soyeon during the group’s press conference for their album. However, as she wrote the lyrics, she found herself leaning into the message of learning to love and respect yourself instead. Soyeon co-composed the track with Pop Time, Daily, and Likey.
I feel is (G)I-DLE’s sixth mini-album and features the concept of cultivating confidence as well as embracing this newfound self-esteem. It is comprised of the title track “Queencard,” pre-released “Allergy,” “Lucid,” “All Night,” “Paradise,” and “Peter Pan.”
(G)I-DLE debuted as a six-member group in 2018 and previously returned with the feisty title track “Nxde” back in October 2022.
