(G)I-DLE makes a decisive statement on January 29th at 6 p.m. KST with the release of their second studio album along with the music video for its title track, “Super Lady!”
Written by the group’s leader and resident producer Soyeon, the song addresses the women of the world to deliver a strong message about their individual beauty and strengths.
Its lyrics encourage the “Super Ladies” to work hard and move forward together with confidence despite the adversity they face from society. Soyeon also co-composed the track alongside Pop Time, Daily, and Likey.
(G)I-DLE’s 2 features eight tracks in total including the pre-released single, “Wife.” All five members of (G)I-DLE participated in writing and composing the songs for this comeback.
According to Cube Entertainment, the album has surpassed 1.8 million stock pre-orders as of January 24th KST thus making it the group’s highest number of stock pre-orders so far. Congratulations to (G)I-DLE!
