GHOST9 has returned for the first time in eight months with their first digital single on June 6th at 6 p.m. KST!
“Awesome Day” is a pop song with a cool funk-based electric guitar rhythm. Its Korean title, which means “Tick Tock,” starts with an ear-catching clockwork sound from the intro. Meanwhile, the lyrics “we fall in love, don’t worry about anything” express not looking back and enjoying this moment even as time passes.
The track can be considered special because it was written and composed by leader Son Junhyung, who demonstrates his potential as a producer and improved abilities as a songwriter under his pseudonym, Rea1ity.
In addition, members Kangsung and Woojin participated in the rap-making, expressing their sincere feelings for the fans supporting GHOST9 since their 2020 debut.
The accompanying lyric video follows the seven members on a leisurely trip to the beach and having fun together, showing off the chemistry and close bond of GHOST9.
