WATCH: FTISLAND Says “God Bless You” In Fun MV For Japanese Comeback

FTISLAND has made another amazing comeback!

On February 10th, the talented rock band from FNC Entertainment revealed the music video for “God Bless You.” According to the label, the song was written by leader Choi Jonghoon. The song conveys the promise to be together always, a message from the members that they will reunite after their military service. Meanwhile, the quirky video is full of fun colors and sets as the members show off their acting in cute situations.

“God Bless You” is the title track off the group’s upcoming album, EVERLASTING. It will be released on March 27th.

This marks FTISLAND’s last comeback before the group goes on hiatus due to the impending military service of both Choi Jonghoon and lead singer Lee Hong Ki. Although the singers had always planned to enlist together, Lee Hong Ki previously revealed that their plans had changed somewhat due to the marriage of member Choi Minhwan and the subsequent birth of his child. Hong Ki stated, “I wanted to enlist together with F.T. Island members but maknae Minhwan got married and had a baby. He needs to take care of the baby so the hyungs will enlist first and the dongsaengs will enlist a little later without creating a lengthy period in between. The hyungs will make songs after getting discharged and the dongsaengs will join. We will try to make our hiatus as shortest possible.”¹

Although no exact military enlistment date has been given, the label confirmed that this was their last comeback before members begin serving in the military. Before they bid fans farewell, however, the group will be going on a tour in Japan. The FTISLAND Japan Live Tour 2019: FIVE TREASURES will be held through April 4th to May 5th, stopping in a total of nine cities throughout Japan.
