WATCH: from20 Channels “James Dean” To Win Back His Love In Comeback Music Video

After spending much of 2021 making his solo debut and rolling out the releases, from20 has finally delivered his first full-length album 20 on November 21st at 6 p.m. KST.

The album’s lead single “James Dean” is a funky blend of synthwave and pop with deep house elements that expresses the feeling of longing for a lost love as their image replays in your head like a movie. It was written by from20 and The Faker Club’s Na Ungjae (IMFACT) who composed and arranged the song.

The pair worked together as producers on the dreamy and futuristic music video for “James Dean” which was directed by from20 himself. It shows the former BIGSTAR member preparing a trip back to his 20’s in the hope to find his lost love. It features short clips taken from the singer-songwriter’s previous MVs to serve as the memories he keeps re-watching – interconnecting the stories he has presented through visual films this year.

This theme and concept continue across all 11 tracks included on 20. It contains every release by from20 this year: “Cigarettes & You,” “from20,” “Radio (Will Sing Our Song),” “TMI,” “Because It’ll Be Faster For You To Forget Me Than Me Loving You” and last month’s pre-release single, “F**k You.”

The record was produced by from20 and Na Ungjae who have further musical collaborations on three songs,] while from20 is the sole credit of writer, composer, and arranger on all but one track.

Physical versions of the album are available only through The Faker Club website here. The CD comes in standard and deluxe editions that are signed by from20 but the deluxe version includes a video call event with the artist.
