WATCH: Former NU’EST Member Ren Opens A New Chapter With “Ready To Move”

On June 13th at 6 p.m. KST, Ren made his solo debut with his first EP along with a music video for its title track, “Ready to Move.”

The pop song features a unique synthesizer sound and sings about Ren’s confidence in moving forward as well as his eagerness to see the future take shape. Its lyrics were penned by danke (lalala studio), Jaeni Lee (PNP), REN, and 12h51 m (VERYGOODS). Meanwhile, it was composed by Ryan Jhun, Nicolas DiPietrantonio, Benjamin Samama, and Dominic Perfetti.

The former NU’EST member’s first mini-album Ren’dezvous was produced by Ryan Jhun and contains a total of five songs. From the French word “rendezvous” which means “meeting” and “promise,” Ren’s EP represents his identity and his resolve to meet fans.
