WATCH: Former LedApple Vocalist Jang Hanbyul Gets “Used To This” In Fun MV

On January 14th at 12 p.m. KST, vocalist Jang Hanbyul released his first song of 2021 titled “Used To This.”

The track is an upbeat pop number with satisfying acoustic arrangements. It contains Hanbyul’s genuine emotions as he expresses the feelings of meeting and breaking up with someone beloved through candid lyrics and his unique musical color.

“Used To This” was written and composed by songwriter Linnea Södahl (better known as Swedish pop singer, Nea), multi-platinum American singer-songwriter Andy Grammer, Swedish producer Gustav Nyström, and K-Pop hit producer Ryan Jhun. Kim Green of makeumineworks also contributed lyrics to the song.

The music video stars Hanbyul’s BIGOCEAN ENM labelmate and former member of Produce 101″ project group I.B.I, soloist Lee Haein. The single album also contains an English version of the track as Hanbyul was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia. The singer made his debut in 2011 as lead vocalist of K-pop band LedApple before leaving in 2014 to pursue a solo career.

Hanbyul participated in Malaysian audition program “Big Stage 2019,” where he beat out prominent local talent to be crowned the winner. Although not from Malaysia, the judges were impressed by his singing in Malay. Evidently, the public were equally impressed as his winning song “Luka Dan Bahagia” spent 36 weeks at the top of Malaysia’s Melaka FM chart.
