After Boyfriend’s disbandment, main vocalist Hyunseong has made his solo debut!
The talented singer spent a year and a half working on his album entitled WINDROAD before it was finally released on October 2nd KST.
The emotional, pop-ballad captures the signature sweet vocals of Hyunseong while the beautiful piano melodies flow like steps and convey a warm hug after a tiring day. Hyunseong participated in the writing and composition of the track, adding to the hopeful lyrics that everyone’s “wind” will come back someday. The singer has expressed his hopes that this song will bring comfort to someone.
Debuting in Starship Entertainment‘s boy group Boyfriend in 2011, Hyunseong left the company with the rest of the members when the group disbanded in 2019. “WINDROAD” marks his first release with his new agency, Dorothy Communications.
Earlier in May, Boyfriend did a live broadcast on members Minwoo, Youngmin, and Kwangmin’s YouTube channel for their 9th debut anniversary. This July, Hyunseong reunited with fellow Boyfriend member and now successful soloist Jeongmin for a special fan meeting. It was held at a pop-up restaurant labelled., “Double Date.”
