Beloved crossover vocal group Forestella released their spin-off digital single “KOOL” on September 6th at 6 p.m. KST.
The track is an impressive up-tempo song with a funky and groovy old-school synth melody and a cheerful bass line. It’s a refreshing summer track that’s different from what you’ve heard before from the quartet.
“KOOL” was written by Andreas Öhrn and Didrik Thott who composed the song with KZ and Kim Taeyoung. Meanwhile, Forestella’s Beat Interactive labelmate Park Junhee from boy group A.C.E is credited as one of the choreographers for the exciting dance which is highlighted in the music video.
Earlier this year, Forestella kicked off their World Tree album trilogy with the first installment, The Beginning, incorporating their unique vocal talents in fields such as opera, musicals, and rock music.
