On November 23rd at 12 a.m. KST, rookie group FANTASY BOYS made their first comeback with their latest EP along with a music video for their title track, “Potential!”
The song features pluck and whistle sounds accompanied by powerful drums and bass with lyrics that talks about potential that goes beyond confidence and excitement. It was written by Y0UNG (MUMW) and 5 C (MUMW) while Ryan Jeon, OLLIPOP, Gavin Jones, Ryan Lawrie, and Kim Mingu (NiNE) composed the track.
The EP, also called Potential, offers one B-side track titled “Get it on” as well as English versions of both songs. Another music video, this time for “Get it on,” is set to drop today at 6 p.m. KST. The mini-album comes two months after the group’s debut with NEW TOMORROW in September.
FANTASY BOYS is composed of members Kim Gyurae, Hong Seongmin, Oh Hyeontae, Lee Hanbin, Ling Qi, Kang Minseo, Hikari, Soul, Kim Wooseok, Hikaru, and Kaedan. They were formed through MBC‘s idol reality competition “Fantasy Boys” which aired from March to June 2023.
