EXO’s Lay gave the contestants of “Idol Producer” a shock with his honest criticism in the latest preview for the first episode!
As announced earlier in December, China’s” Idol Producer,” similar to the South Korean survival show “Produce 101,” is a survival show that will result in the creation of a new Chinese idol boy group. It was announced that EXO’s Lay will be the Nation’s Producer Representative and MC, while other Kpop idols, such as GOT7‘s Jackson, Pristin‘s Kyulkyung, and Cosmic Girls‘ Cheng Xiao, will be mentors to the trainees!
In the episode preview, fans got the first look into the show. The judges’ comments are definitely hard for the boys participating with each of the trainees getting sharp criticism as they get scored. Although many EXO-L’s can agree they are not used to this side of Lay, they can all agree that his honest criticism comes from the years of experience he has in both Korean and China as one of the biggest idol groups in the world!
The first episode is set to air on January 19th.
