EXO member Lay is finally ready to reveal his long-awaited solo comeback through an all new music video!
On October 6th 2017 KST, the music video teaser for Lay’s newest track “SHEEP (羊)” was released on SMTOWN‘s official YouTube channel, as well as other various forms of media. Lay is seen hanging with his crew of friends and really turning up the heat in various settings like an auto shop, kitchen, and sauna. The ending shows an interesting view of a bag of popcorn suddenly turning into a sheep and Lay’s voice states “I’m trying to sheep!” The word sheep is a play on words for sounding similar to the word sleep in English and is incorporated in the album title LAY 02 SHEEP as well. The song itself sounds like an extremely dynamic hip-hop and techno-influenced track that ought to get people up and moving.
“SHEEP” marks Lay’s second solo album release (hence the 02 in the title). The album and music video are set to be released tomorrow, October 7th KST!
