EXO‘s Baekhyun returned on May 25th at 6 p.m. with a new solo album and a music video for its title track, “Candy”!
The R&B song’s lyrics draws attention to Baekhyun’s many similarities to various types of sweets. Meanwhile, its music video gives off a fun light-hearted feel with a significant focus on choreography.
He personally described his second mini-album as something that he wishes to bring people happiness. Baekhyun also pointed out that in EXO’s concept, he was the member who has the ability of “light.” He wanted a connection by including the word in his album name. In addition, his previous solo album was called City Lights so he felt it was a fitting choice to make.
Delight has seven tracks that are all under R&B. The album already broke the record for most albums sold during the first week with over 600,000 in sales in under a day. Congratulations, Baekhyun!
