EXO‘s Baekhyun makes his exciting comeback with “Bambi” on March 30th at 6 p.m. KST!
The R&B lead track was written by SAAY and DEEZ while DEEZ, YUNSU, SAAY, and Adrian McKinnon worked together to compose the song. It sings about a sensual love, using fairytale references to add a playful charm.
According to a press interview with Baekhyun, the title has two meanings: “Bambi,” the famous animated deer and “night rain” in Korean. The mini-album, which shares the same name as its title track, contains five more songs: “Love Scene,” “All I Got,” “Privacy,” “Cry for Love,” and his pre-released single, “Amusement Park.”
Baekhyun made his solo debut back in 2019 with City Lights. His following album, Delight, broke records and made him the first soloist in nearly two decades to become a million-seller. Bambi, his third mini-album, marked a personal best after surpassing 833,000 pre-orders on March 29th KST.
This comeback is a bittersweet present for fans since the singer has announced that he will be leaving for his mandatory military service next month. We wish Baekhyun the best and hopes he comes back safely!
