Two power vocals teamed up to create a stunning harmony!
On March 12th at 6 p.m. KST, EXO‘s Baekhyun and NCT‘s Doyoung unveiled a remake of Lee Jihoon and Shinhwa‘s Shin Hyesung‘s 2001 track, “Doll.”
The song is part of the “Rewind: Blossom” project by KT, Stone Music Entertainment, and Genie Music which aims to recruit artists who will breathe new life into songs from the 90s and early 2000s.
Ha Sungwoon, Urban Zakapa, IZ*ONE, B1A4‘s Sandeul, DAVICHI‘s Kang Minkyung, Wonstein, Park Moonchi and Yu Seungwoo also participated in the event. Eight songs are included in the project.
Doyoung previously returned with his team for their NCT 2020 project which gathered all 23 members together for the first time. The group promoted both as a whole and in units for their Resonance albums, introducing fresh songs like “Make A Wish (Birthday Song),” “Misfit,” “From Home,” “90s Love,” and “Work It.”
Meanwhile, Baekhyun had a comeback with EXO for their 2019 album, Obsession. He is currently gearing up to return as a soloist ten months after he dropped Delight and its the title track, “Candy.” His third solo mini-album called Bambi will feature six songs and is scheduled to drop at the end of March.
