EXO is finally back with their new album and music video!
On July 18th at 6 p.m. KST, the popular group from SMTOWN released the MV for “Ko Ko Bop.” The song is a high-energy track with a reggae vine and lots of cool bass sounds that keep a steady rythym throughout the song, making the perfect backdrop of EXO’s vocals and famous choreography. Members Chen, Chanyeol, and Baekhyun helped write the lyrics for the song, which talk about letting the beat take over your body to allow it to move and dance the way it wants.
The MV itself is colorful and bright, telling a story throughout the individual scenes of the various members. When together, they dance a strong, fierce dance that shows off a different charm than they have displayed previously.
“Ko Ko Bop” is the title track off EXO’s fourth studio album, The War. The new album has a total of nine tracks and is their first release since “Lotto” one year ago.
