Boy group EVNNE made their comeback with their third mini-album RIDE or DIE on June 17th at 6 p.m. KST!
The title track “Badder Love” is a song in the synth-wave genre that combines analog bass and cool guitar sounds. It contains a rhythm section that maximizes the beautiful vocal melodies and chilled synths that uplift the emotions.
The lyrics — penned by rapper and songwriter Rick Bridges — express EVNNE’s unconventional way of loving, saying that even if it’s a mess, they will cross over to you without regret. Meanwhile, the song was composed and arranged by arcon, Hui Chang (Coke Paris), and Jimmy Claeson.
The “Badder Love” music video emphasizes the concept of pursuing love in imperfect conditions which follows EVNNE on the journey towards their goal. The group’s struggle and chemistry are expressed through a cinematic tone that conveys their boyishness. Little by little, precious memories are created from a difficult process, becoming the eye-catching highlight of the video.
RIDE or DIE consists of six fresh tracks spanning various genres including an English version of “Badder Love.”
