On July 30th at 6 p.m. KST, Eric Nam returned with a mini-album and a music video for its title track, “Paradise.”
The song, co-written by Eric himself and Day6‘s Young K, laments about the monotony and pressure of everyday life, wishing to find an escape where they can be free and happy. Its accompanying music video shows Eric as he starts off as a regular office worker when an alternate version of himself appears, igniting a bizarre series of events.
His fourth mini-album called The Other Side boasts of five new tracks which the singer had personally helped write and compose. According to an interview, his album was named as such to encourage the listener to hold on through the rough patches until they get to the better times, “the other side.”
Eric Nam last returned with the English album Before We Begin in November 2019 with the lead single “Live Die Young.”
