EPIC HIGH returns with a new album and music video!
On March 11th KST, the group dropped sleepless in _________ and released the music video for “Love Drunk” featuring Crush.
Tablo previously described “Love Drunk” as a song that conveys the moment after experiencing intense pain that makes you understand why people turn to alcohol. “Love Drunk” sings about wanting to drink alcohol to help induce sleep but being unable to sleep because of the effects of alcohol.
The track was co-composed by Tablo and DJ Tukutz, while the lyrics were written by Tablo and Mithra Jin. The arrangement was created by Tukutz and PHILTRE.
Directed by Park Bae Jong, the music video features Jin Seo Yeon and IU as martial arts master and disciple. The intense exchanges of blows symbolizes the struggle to remove yourself from a relationship with someone you believe you always wanted to leave but discovering in the end how sad and lonely it becomes.
