WATCH: ENHYPEN Savors A Dangerous Infatuation With “Sweet Venom” MV

On November 17th at 2 p.m. KST, ENHYPEN returned with their latest EP along with a music video for its title track, “Sweet Venom!”

The funk-pop song, an extension of the group’s previous comeback track “Bite Me,” expresses a promise to stay by “you” despite the poison that conquers the boy and shows a sensual charisma.

It was written by Slow Rabbit, Riley McDonough, Connor McDonough, Madison Love, “Hitman” Bang (HYBE founder and chairman Bang Sihyuk), Wonderkid, Lee Yijin, and ENHYPEN’s Jay while Wonderkid, Bread Beat, and Cashcow composed the track.

ENHYPEN’s fifth mini-album ORANGE BLOOD contains seven songs in total with three different versions of the title track: the original version, an English version, and a version featuring Bella Poarch.

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcasted locally, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid attention to K-pop. She holds a fondness for SEVENTEEN and NCT and would recommend (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher, and XG to whoever cared to listen. She reads just about anything and is currently easing back into full novels.
