On May 19th at 6 p.m. KST, E Entertainment boy group E’LAST debuted their first unit project, E’LAST U, with the delightfully elegant “The Beginning Of Spring” from the digital single album, Remember.
The future bass-based song depicts the pain caused by the wounds of a past love, layering the experience with unique and sweet-sounding melodies in an unexpected 3/4 time signature.
E’LAST U member and main rapper Wonjun participated in writing the lyrics for the track which was composed by Lee Shinsung. The latter had previously worked with E’LAST on their June 2020 debut song, “Swear.” Composer Lee Cheolwon, who was part of the first generation of electronica music in Korea, also contributed to the song’s composition and arrangement.
