DJ Jengi has released a special collaboration with South Korean artist SUMIN.
On November 23rd, the music video for “Far Away (더 멀리)” was released. The contemporary track is already pleasing fans with its cool vibe and electronic influences. The music video, which was shot in Seoul, features SUMIN making her way around gritty, city scenes that perfectly suit the song.
The collaboration with SUMIN made for a perfect fit with Jengi, a Dutch DJ and producer, since he says he draws inspiration from disco, modern R&B, and the “creative sounds that come out of the South Korean indie electronic scene.” With such a unique sound of his own, a collaboration with someone else could prove tricky. Yet, his efforts with SUMIN seem to melt effortlessly together to produce a great track, despite their different backgrounds and countries of origin.
