On July 30th at 6 p.m. KST, Korean pop-rock group Dreamcatcher returned with a special mini-album and a music video for its lead track, “BEcause.”
The song features the group’s trademark haunting sound with lyrics that depicts “a love that has grown too large” and has turned into a dark desire to keep someone. Ollounder and LEEZ took charge of writing, composing, and producing the piece.
Its riveting music video welcomes you into a mysterious hotel and a run-down amusement park where the girls come together to deviously commit occult acts. The group’s special EP, Summer Holiday, features six tracks and comes six months after the release of their sixth mini-album, Dystopia: Road To Utopia.
Dreamcatcher is a seven-member team under Dreamcatcher Company that is composed of JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami, and Gahyeon. They debuted in 2017 with the single album Nightmare and the song, “Chase Me.”
