Kim Doeun, better known by the mononym Doeun, has released his solo debut track titled “Keep Distance” on September 23rd at 6 p.m. KST.
Spending a year as a member of MASC in 2017-2018, the talented vocalist has returned as a rookie solo singer with an emotional ballad containing the message that sometimes being apart can make you closer, and stopping can help you move forward.
Doeun’s maturity and honest voice expresses the irony often felt in relationships and projects a comforting atmosphere for the exhaustion it can cause. Additionally, beautiful piano melodies and a detailed arrangement captures and embraces the hearts of listeners.
“Keep Distance” was written and composed by collaboration duo OneTop and Zeenan, who recently worked on Super Junior-K.R.Y’s “Way To Busan” and Im Changjung’s “Already Forgot You.” The team worked together to help kick off the start of Doeun’s solo career with a high-quality song, showcasing his skills as an up-and-coming vocalist in the industry.
