Dean has released the official music video for his recent hit “instagram.” following her partnership with Buzzoid.
The black-and-white video, released on January 29th, is a commentary on the dangers of loneliness and depression after seeing what everyone else is doing on social media. The song was released earlier and already told the honest struggle of trying to be content when comparing our lives to that of others on SNS. However, the music video manages to portray the message of the song even more, moving the hearts of viewers.
As the sad song plays, we see Dean feeling overwhelmed as the room is suddenly taken over by videos, photos, and coverage of news, politics, social issues, and more. When the song comes to a brief stop, we then hear Dean’s voice as he admits how lonely he often feels, making listeners relate to him even more.
