Hip-hop idol boy group D-CRUNCH is back!
Returning as eight members following the departure of vocalist Hyunwoo, the AI Grand Korea group released their fourth mini-album DAYDREAM and its explosive title track “My Name” on April 6th at 6 p.m. KST.
The song is a future bass dance piece about being reborn into your complete self when the person that you love calls your name. Each member brims with D-CRUNCH’s signature strong skillset, displaying their distinctive expressions and impressing with their singing.
“My Name” was written and composed by producers Bull$EyE and Ondine alongside TEAM WANG‘s BOYTOY and Disko. O.V, D-CRUNCH’s leader, rapper, and member of the group’s songwriting team G.I.G (with vocalists Hyunwook and Hyunoh), also took part in the lyrics.
DAYDREAM contains a total of 5 tracks including the heartfelt ballad “Time To Go To You.” The song is featured in the web drama “1:11 Time To Go See You” which stars D-CRUNCH members Hyunho and Dylan, APRIL’s Chaekyung, and MOMOLAND’s Nayun.
Inner Child (MonoTree) produced the songs “Childlike” and “Sand Castle.” Musician Lee Taehoon (Second Session) and CADEJO also participated in the composition and arrangement of the former. Composer Mystery (also known as dbsound and Lee Yongcheong) of musical arrangement team Urban Monster took part in the composition and arrangement of “Sand Castle” as well.
