On May 20th at 6 p.m. KST, Crush and Red Velvet‘s Joy unveiled their collaboration track entitled “Mayday.”
The song is a fitting release for these strange and trying times. Its lyrics vent out the frustration of being cooped up at home, the boredom and monotony messing with their heads. It describes the craving for excitement and wanting to explore the outside world once again.
“Mayday” is the first single for Crush’s special “Homemade” series. He last returned in December 2019 with the album From Midnight to Sunrise with the double title tracks, “With You” and “Alone.”
