WATCH: Cleaun Makes Worldwide Debut With OG Maco In “Burn Up” Visualizer

Artist and producer Cleaun made his official worldwide debut on July 21st at 6 p.m. KST.

“Burn Up” is a fast-paced trap/hip-hop song written, composed, and produced by Cleaun. The track features American rapper OG Maco, best known for his 2014 Billboard Hot 100 hit “U Guessed It,” who also penned lyrics on the song.

Cleaun spent the better half of a year working in the States, specifically in Georgia, with some of the heavy hitters in the Atlanta hip-hop scene. This isn’t the first time the former VAV member (who promoted as lead vocalist “Gyeoul“) has collaborated with international artists.

In 2019, after personally receiving a call from rapper Miles B. expressing interest in working together, Cleaun – who was studying music in Buffalo, New York at the time – accepted the offer. The pair then collaborated on his first solo release, “Take You There.”

Producer Suwoncityboy, who has worked with K-hip-hop artists such as YANGHONGWON (formerly Young B), Kid Milli, NO:EL, and JUSTHIS, was also behind some of Cleaun’s solo work. He teamed up with him again to arrange his latest track.

The visualizer was created by Barcelona-based visual art director Martina Ampuero of Eyesberg Studio and serves as the track’s official music video. “Burn Up” is available on all streaming services now.
