CLC has made an unexpected reunion!
On September 15th at 12 a.m KST, Sorn unveils her digital track “Nirvana Girl” featuring her fellow ex-CLC members Yeeun and Seungyeon.
The song is an anthem to finding a way out of the chaos and paving her own path as someone who is “enlightened and free” instead of being dictated to who she should appear to be. Gino The Ghost, Josh Wei, Lauren Miles, Linying, Nick Lee, Ryan Chew, Shaykhandbake, and Sorn herself worked together to pen the lyrics.
Yeeun sang together with Sorn for the track while Seungyeon helped choreograph the dance for “Nirvana Girl.” Both of them made an appearance in the music video where they party with Sorn as she celebrates her newfound confidence.
CLC (which stood for “CrystaL Clear”) was a seven-member group that debuted under Cube Entertainment in 2015. In 2021, members started leaving the agency one by one after claims of mistreatment and that the label had already dismissed them. In May 2022, Cube Entertainment announced that their activities with the group has ended and left fans uncertain of CLC’s future as a group.
