CL is back!
The former 2ne1 leader officially made her return on December 4th at 6 p.m. KST with two title tracks called “+DONE161201” and “+REWIND170205+” from her latest album.
CL left her longtime agency, YG Entertainment, last November 8th KST and has expressed her excitement at the prospect of making a new start, thrilling her loyal fans who had stayed with her through the years.
Entitled In The Name Of Love, her upcoming project album features six tracks in total, including “+DONE161201+” and “+REWIND170205+.” Two more tracks will be released each week and various artworks, as well as new merchandise, are set be revealed in the near future.
CL made her powerful debut with the iconic Kpop group, 2ne1, in 2009. They unwillingly disbanded in 2016 and went their own ways. Despite her solo career and activities in the US, CL went into musical hiatus after taking part in 2ne1’s last music video called “Goodbye” in 2017.
