The film “Battleship Island” looks even more interesting and exciting in the new trailer released by CJ Entertainment!
The South Korean film, based on true events, is gaining a lot of interest overseas due to the topic, not to mention its star-studded cast of So Ji Sub, Song Joong Ki, Hwang Jung Min, Lee Jung Hyun, Kim Su An, and Yoon Kyung Ho.
In fact, the film already sold to 113 countries such as France, Russia, Italy, Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Philippines, Turkey and some parts of South America.
With director Ryoo Seung Wan at the helm, the man behind the award-winning films “Berlin File,” “Veteran,” and “City of Violence,” this film is inevitably take viewers right into the action-packed war zone.
The film tells about a group of Joseon people who became slaves and were trapped on an island called “Battleship” to do labor in a coal mine during Japanese colonization. However, in desperation they attempt an escape from their harsh surroundings in an attempt to gain their freedom once more. The question is— will they succeed?
