On October 18th at 6 p.m. KST, Chuu released her first mini-album and a music video for its title track, “Howl!”

The song invokes the feeling of being in space and aims to bring comfort as it sings about two hurt people finding healing in each other’s company. It was written by Seo Jieum and composed by Lise Sofie Reppe, Marion Skogseth Bjørsvik, Emily-Madelen Aarsheim Harbakk, Jason OK, and Musikality.

Howl is Chuu’s first solo album and contains a total of five songs: “Howl,” Underwater,” “My Palace,” Aliens,” and “Hitchhiker.” A music video for “Underwater” was previously released ahead of her comeback.

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcasted locally, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid attention to K-pop. She holds a fondness for SEVENTEEN and NCT and would recommend (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher, and XG to whoever cared to listen. She reads just about anything and is currently easing back into full novels.
