WATCH: Chungha Is A Neon Diva In New Music Video “Roller Coaster”

Chungha, solo artist and former member of popular group I.O.I, has returned with her first official comeback following her solo debut!

On January 17th, 2018, the popular artist’s music video for “Roller Coaster” was dropped on YouTube. “Roller Coaster” is a retro, techno, R&B-style track with a hard-hitting bass in between choruses and an incredibly catchy hook. The smooth trance tones and two-step, percussion-filled bridge mix well with the neon style music video that shows off Chungha’s incredible visuals and dance skills.

“Roller Coaster” is the first female solo artist track created by the Black Eyed team. The video’s description claim it was a track that was given much refinement and took almost six months to perfect. The lyrics were created to represent how the feeling of a relationship can be compared to the feelings of being on a roller coaster. It can be exciting, fun, and stomach turning, but also dangerous and unexpected.

Chungha made her official solo debut on June 6th, 2017, with the popular, tropical house track “Why Don’t You Know” featuring Nucksal. Her career originally began in 2015 through the first season of the survival program “Produce 101″ when she ranked fourth place and was able to debut as part of the group I.O.I that was created through the show.

“Roller Coaster” is the title song off of Chungha’s second mini-album Offset. Fans have already been commenting everywhere to boast about Chungha’s smooth and fresh vocal style as well as her incredible stage presence that has carried well over to a solo career. In addition, the song quickly ranked number one on real-time charts.
