Chungha has returned with her second single, “Already Midnight (Gotta Go)”!
Released on January 2nd, the music video for “Gotta Go” was released, showcasing a more mature, sultry side of her, as well as her great dancing skills front and center.
From her interview with Yonhap, her new track “has addictive flute sounds and provocative lyrics that honestly express one’s innermost feelings.” Chungha also said that her previous songs tried lovely and refreshing concepts but with this single, she hoped to show the deeper and darker sides of her voice to shift the focus toward the lyrics.
The track is her second collaboration with producers Black Eyed Pilseung and Jeon Goon who also worked on her hit song, “Rollercoaster.”
Chungha will perform the single at a comeback showcase that will be held at Times Square, Yeongdeungpo, Seoul.
