On August 3rd at 6 p.m. KST, soloist Choi Yena made a comeback with her second mini-album and a music video for its title track, “SMARTPHONE.”
Written by the singer herself alongside TWLV and 72, the pop-rock song is accompanied by a quirky music video that stars Choi Yena playing as a superhero determined to take down an evil duck. OLLIPOP, Gavin Jones, Hayley Aitken, TWLV, and 72 all teamed up to compose the track.
SMARTPHONE contains five songs and comes nine months after former IZ*ONE member Choi Yena made her solo debut in January with “ˣ‿ˣ (SMiLEY).”
