BTS and Map of the Soul: 7 has finally arrived!
A “kinetic manifesto film” for the title track “ON” was released at 6 p.m. KST on February 21st to officially herald the group’s comeback.
According to the group’s agency, Big Hit Entertainment, the strong hip-hop lead single “reflects on their calling and mindset as artists during the seven years.” A special version which is only available on digital features talented singer, Sia. Another music video is set to be revealed on February 28th KST.
Map of the Soul: 7 offers a tracklist composed of 20 songs including pre-released titles, “Black Swan,” “Interlude: Shadow,” and “Outro: Ego.” The album expresses the personal journey of BTS as they struggle with as their true selves and as artists.
BTS released the first part of their “Map of the Soul” series last year, Map of the Soul: Persona, and its title track, “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey.
