On May 28th at 12 a.m. KST, BTS‘ RM dropped a music video for one of his B-Side tracks titled “Groin!”
The song falls under the hip-hop genre and its lyrics express frustration at the “bastards” that belittle him while also decisively stating that he will live well despite them anyway. Its lyrics were penned by JNKYRD, Kim Hanjoo, Mokyo, RM, and Yawn while Mokyo, Kim H, RM, Yawn, and JNKYRD produced the track.
BTS’ RM released his second studio album, Right Place, Wrong Person, on May 24th KST with a music video for the title track, “LOST!” According to the artist himself, this album represents the moments when you feel like “a stranger who doesn’t fit in” and the ensuing struggle to understand.
This is RM’s first solo album nearly a year and a half after he revealed Indigo back in December 2022.

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcasted locally, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid attention to K-pop. She holds a fondness for SEVENTEEN and NCT and would recommend (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher, and XG to whoever cared to listen. She reads just about anything and is currently easing back into full novels.
