Originally made available for streaming and download on June 19th KST, BTS thrilled fans once more with the reveal of a music video for their pre-release Japanese track “Stay Gold” this June 26th at 6 p.m. KST!

The song, which is also a Japanese drama OST, contains a reminder to rise above the harshness of the world, to “stay gold” despite going through all the disheartening things that come their way. It also sings about a wish to reach out to the listener and bring comfort to them during their trying times.

It is featured in BTS’s fourth Japanese album called Map of the Soul : 7 ~ The Journey~ which is scheduled to drop on July 15th KST. The EP contains Japanese versions of their past songs and will have a 13-piece tracklist including the single, “Lights.” This album reportedly follows the group’s experiences since their debut back in 2013 as well as all the emotional experiences that rocked them during their journey.

BTS recently topped Oricon’s album sales charts for the first half of 2020 and broke a record by being the first foreign artist in about 36 years to occupy the top spot. The group had returned earlier this year with a Korean comeback for Map of the Soul: 7 which was headlined by the title track “ON.”
