On February 16th at 6 p.m. KST, BTOB‘s Lim Hyunsik returned with his second mini-album along with a music video for its title track, “Lonely Sea (La Mar)!”
It was written, composed, and arranged by the singer himself with a message describing himself as “a lonely sea.” The underwater footage in the music video was shot by Lim Hyunsik himself who took diving classes in preparation for their shoot.
Lim Hyunsik’s second mini-album is titled The Young Man and the Deep Sea and has six tracks in total. He participated in composing all of the songs, creating the overall concept and designs for this comeback, and planning for the music video.
The singer explained that the album is a homage to the classic novel of the same name which he enjoyed greatly. Like the old man in the book, Lim Hyunsik wants to show fans the version of himself with a firm and wise attitude towards life.
