WATCH: Brown Eyed Girls Shows Off Contrasting Appeals With “Wonder Woman” And “Abandoned” MVs

Another second-gen Kpop legend has returned!

Brown Eyed Girls ended their four-year hiatus on October 29th at 6 p.m. KST with the release of double music videos for “Wonder Woman” and “Abandoned.”

“Wonder Woman” was originally an acoustic song but electronic and guitar sounds were incorporated to create a funky track. In contrast, “Abandoned” gives off a melancholic feel and highlights the members’ expressive vocals. According to member Gain, the Halloween-inspired music video was directed by Hwang Soo Ah who was also behind their iconic single, “Abracadabra.”

Their comeback RE_vive album includes a total of 10 tracks which were all remade with B.E.G’s distinct colors. It showcases the group’s flexibility by featuring various genres like ballad, dance, Latin pop, city pop, and folk.

Brown Eyed Girls debuted in 2006 with members Miryo, JeA, Gain, and Narsha. They released powerful hits like “Abracadabra,” “Sign,” and “Sixth Sense” before going into a four-year hiatus after “Brave New World” was released in 2015.
